Two great club tracks back-to-back here on a limited 50-copy lathe cut. This was originally planned as an Afro7 45 back in the day—we even tracked down Joseph Ngala on the coast and paid him the license fee—but nothing materialised until now. “Pekeshe” has this great rumbling vibe, and when the horns kick in, the hook sends it into a frenzy. The different turns and slightly off-kilter arrangements are exactly what make the track so compelling. The flip is another banger you’ve probably heard, as it was featured on Kenya Special 2. We have some authentic Afro7 sleeves left and early birds will get a random one from our catalogue spectre.
