Kalambya Boys
Joseph Mutaiti 'Kikoloyo' was born in Ukonze Village, Kaiti Division Machakos Count in 1959. He moved to his maternal grandparents home in Kalambya Village, Kitundu Division of Mbooni District at the age of 12. ther he engaged in menial jobs of looking after cattle. He also attended night boogies [locally called 'tumisonge'] where he was attracted to the guitar. He made several tin imitations of the same which he played much to the chargin of his age mates. In 1974, he met Peter Muambi and Onesmus Musyoki culminating in his first release 'Mandasi lana Na Ikumi' [One Hundred And Ten Buns] in 1975 under KAMUKUNJI
