Sofiane of Groovy Record in Paris turned this up in March 2011. It is by a self-promoted or locally backed Kikuyu band from Gatundu, a small town in Central Province that’s 10 miles west of Thika and best known as the birthplace of Jomo Kenyatta, Kenya’s first president.

It is entirely possible that this is the same band as the Gatunyu Boys who also recorded for Kirinyaga and N.G. Sound.
